Though a novelty around a decade ago, voice search
has rapidly become a norm thanks to advancements in machine learning and speech
recognition algorithms. There are tons of statistics that only confirm how much
voice search has, and will continue to grow in the foreseeable future.
Now, B2B marketers have always been a bit slow to
adopt major technology changes, but it's a different story with voice search.
Users have long passed the stage of using voice searches for weather updates
and traffic conditions. They are using it for obtaining more in-depth
informations, such as questions that include "how", "why",
"what" or "where". Moreover, featured snippet results are
also pulled from voice searches.
